Suspension of VOC Côte d’Ivoire Programme
We have been informed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and SME Promotion of Côte d’Ivoire that the obligatory aspect of the Verification of Conformity Programme has been suspended until February 15th 2019. In practice, this means that until that date the presentation of a Certificate of Conformity (COC) is temporarily suspended for Customs Clearance, after which it will become mandatory again.
In order to be well prepared for next year, importers and exporters wishing to ensure the conformity of their products to the applicable standards and specifications still have the possibility to request a COC on a voluntary basis.
We will of course keep you informed about any further developments of the programme.
Please don't hesitate to contact us for further clarifications.
