Gabon PROGEC: Postponement of new regulatory measures
Following the Decision no. 034.2020 communicated by AGANOR, the end of the transitional period initially set to December 31, 2020 has now been postponed to June 30, 2021.
The Gabonese Standardisation Organisation has announced that the PROGEC Decree 1080-20 will be postponed to July 1, 2021.
During this transition period, the following products will be subject to a conformity control and will require a Certificate of Conformity:
- Construction materials
- Electrical and electronic devices
- Cosmetic products
- Medical-surgical devices
- Toys
AGANOR also confirmed that the minimum FOB value of a shipment needing to be certified remains at 3000 euros until July 1,2021.
