Gabon PROGEC: Postponement of new regulatory measures
The Gabonese Standardisation Organisation has announced that the PROGEC Decree 1080-20 will be postponed to July 1, 2021.
During this transition period, the following products will be subject to a conformity control and will require a Certificate of Conformity:
- Construction materials
- Electrical and electronic devices
- Cosmetic products
- Medical-surgical devices
- Toys
AGANOR also confirmed that the minimum FOB value of a shipment needing to be certified remains at 3000 euros until July 1,2021.
