Cotecna appointed as a Notified Body for Gulf Mark Certification Scheme
The Gulf Standards Organization (GSO) has appointed Cotecna as a Notified Body for the Gulf Mark Certification Scheme which certifies low voltage electrical (LVE) equipment and toys.
The Dubai branch of Cotecna Inspection SA has been appointed as a Notified Body by the Gulf Standards Organization (GSO).
Specifically, Cotecna has been notified with the NB number 0060 and is now certifying low voltage electrical equipment (LVE) and children's toys regulated under the Gulf Mark Certification Scheme.
The certification is mandatory in all the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries. GCC member states include Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the United Arba Emirates, and Yemen.
