Cotecna acquires Wimpey Laboratories in UAE
Established in Dubai in 2006, Wimpey Laboratories operates analytical testing facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The scope of testing services comprises food, cosmetics, environmental, consumer goods, electrical products, petroleum products, construction material testing, and geotechnical investigation. Wimpey Laboratories employs over 280 full-time employees and displays a wide portfolio of accreditations and approvals, including from EIAC, ENAS, IAS, and SASO.
This acquisition allows Cotecna to further expand its network in the UAE and broaden its product testing capabilities. Sebastien Dannaud, CEO of Cotecna, said: “We are glad to welcome Wimpey Laboratories as part of the Cotecna Group.
